Antique 15ct Gold & Turquoise 'Cubist' Pendant
This is SUCH an unusual little jewel, I’ve never seen anything like it. So modern in form, with real cubist vibes, but made over 100 years ago! So many angles and little faces, the pop of bright turquoise is so perfect on the glowing buttery gold.
My feeling is that it was part of a larger piece, maybe a bunch of them were connected on a ring, or as a sort of tassel?! We can’t know for sure, but I do know that it makes a magical little pendant, unique and beautiful, just the way I like it! The obvious choice would be to wear it on a chain, but how fun would it be to pop it on a little sleeper hoop earring?
