Edwardian 18ct Gold & Diamond Star Set Ring
There's no way I could tell you the number of star or flush set rings I have sold, there have been so many, as they are a particular weakness of mine. I even have one as my engagement ring. However, they are appearing in my stock less and less, as popularity and gold prices have rocketed, meaning they are so much more expensive than they used to be. But I still love them, and I bought this beauty as I thought it had something special. It sounds weird but I couldn't work out why I liked it so much, until I realised it was those super crisp star settings that were quite unusual. For want of a better word, star settings are often a but 'slashy' and not as neat and tidy as these, but someone has gone to great pains to make these settings cookie cutter perfect! Then we have those gorgeous twinkly little old cut diamonds, those glorious convex curves that we all love, and we have a pretty gorgeous ring here! It was made in 1918, which marked the end of WWI, so for me, it holds a little bit of extra good juju!
