Antique 18ct Gold Flush Set Sapphire Ring
Essentially my dream ring. Chunky, wearable, super cool, beautiful aged gold, an old cut stone that just happens to be a stunning cornflower sapphire, I mean, come on. This ring is just so stunning. An educated guess would be that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin. Curves in all the right places, but not such a chonker that she's uncomfortable to wear (or too heavy for anyone to afford). That stone is a knockout, no joke. So bright and vivid she'll take your breath away (well she did mine). A wonderful ring for everyday
I wonder if she's been worn with another ring (perhaps a wedding band?) for many years, as on one side is the most perfectly bevelled edge. Or maybe this was done so a ring sat better next to it? Kind of handy if you want to stack her. Arrgh it's just so so good!
