Victorian Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring

£990.00
Sold Out

Here’s the thing; I don’t love clusters. But this ring is so much more than a cluster. The way the nobbly old cut diamonds continue down the shoulders! The clean border of gold, the ornamental almost blossom-like decoration to the sides, oh it’s just too much. There is a worn inscription in script on the inside. I can’t read it, but can only imagine the romantic words once clearly engraved.

Those diamonds are so well matched, which is almost unheard of in a ring like this. A variety of colours is a lovely quirk in jewellery this age, and with this many stones, but here they are gloriously bright. and well matched. My conservative estimation is approximately 0.5ct in total.

It’s a thing of beauty. Will it be a pinky ring? An engagement ring? A right hand ring? I don’t know, but the person who owns the hand that this ends up on, will be forever distracted by the magical brilliance of this very special ring. Considering the number of wonderful stones, and the rarity of a ring like this, I think it is priced very very well.
