18ct Gold 'Always Faithful' Signet Ring
I should buy more signet rings (I wear mine every single day without fail and feel naked without it!), but they don’t always sing to me. This one did however; love the rich 18ct gold, but I really love the motto ‘Semper Fidelis’ which is latin for ‘Always Faithful’. I don’t know which family this crest officially belongs to, we have what looks to me like a swan surmounting a turret/castle, but it’s the motto I love best, engraved within a buckled belt. The buckle further promotes fidelity, along with strength and security.
My favourite part is the engraving under the head ‘Mickey’. My romantic mind has decided that Mickey owned this ring, and gave it to his lady friend, swooooon! It was definitely a larger size once, it has been re-sized expertly, and can be sized back up to almost any size as the ban doesn’t taper and the hallmarks are to the side.

Great antique condition, minimal evidence of a very well done re-size, the ring is not perfectly round as it has come down so much, but prfect to wear as it is, because our finger’s aren’t round!
