Early Victorian 15ct Gold Garnet Pendant
Kind of goth, very Victorian and really rather magical, this garnet pendant has the most insane lustre, it twinkles and sparkles like there’s no tomorrow (garnet is a very hard stone which means the lustre is super bright). The gorgeous rope wreath that surrounds the cut own setting is perfect for this stone, it’s a beautifully balanced piece. Being early Victorian, it has a closed back, so try not to get this baby wet!
Possibly once a stickpin, but I think more likely an earring, as the reverse is mint (usually there are marks if it has been taken off a pin). The deep red garnet flashes its colour out as you move the stone, it really is a beauty.
