Victorian Citrine Heart Pendant
I love a heart, but you've got to be selective right? It's important to be fussy in my line of work. This beauty passed all the tests with flying colours. Beautiful intense colour, perfecly proportioned stone cutting (gloriously deep!), and the most divine mount make this a very nice heart indeed.
The colour of golden syrup, the citrine practically glows. The gold mount is to die for, the scalloped claws hold that stone tight, enchancing, not diminishing the stone. For me, the back of the piece is as good as the front. I love the generous use of gold, it helps the pendant sit nicely. The 9ct stamp is so crisp, it's just the icing on the cake.
