Victorian 15ct Gold Turquoise Studded Band
I had a proper swoon when I saw this ring. The many hues of turquoise, the rich 15ct gold, the flat sides (making it perfect for stacking), just amazing. Lucky for you, she's a smidge too small for me, and too big for my pinky! While the turquoise cabochons have eased into old age by changing colour at gloriously different rates, miraculously, none of them are chipped, none damaged. This is a wonderful band, I've never seen or owned one quite like it.
Era
Circa 1880
Material
15ct gold (tested) and turquoise
Measurements
Width 3mm
Size
J.5 (UK) 5 (US)
Weight
2.4 grams
Condition
Very good. Obvious (!) discolouration to the turquoise but this is most definitely part of her charm! I suspect that one or two stones have been replaced at some point, but not recently.
